What’s been happening:

In 1987, Following 30 years in the data processing industry I found myself out of work and searching for a new career. Two friends and I along with our wives put our experience and knowledge together and evaluated entering the miniature electrical connector industry with a line of new products. We founded Nanonics Corporation following study of international markets and existing miniature connector product availability. In 1988 we began Development and marketing of a unique ultra-miniature and Hi-Reliability electrical interconnect product line for aerospace, military, and other extreme environments. Three patents and a military specification resulted over the next eight years and opened up a wide range of applications; aircraft including F-22 and F-18, oil-well drilling tools, Mars landers, Hubbell telescope, deep space probes, satellites, military weapons, and high density electronics. Following fourteen years of growth on an international scale Nanonics Corporation was sold to Tyco International Corporation. Tyco continues the Nanonics product line and name. My wife, Betty, and I are now retired on Amelia Island, Florida.
